Home-School Contract 2017-2018


  • Provide a broad and balanced curriculum to meet the needs of your child.
  • Provide a safe and happy environment, with help and encouragement, to ensure that your child does the best they can.
  • Be open and welcoming to you and offer opportunities to become involved in the life of the school and school activities.
  • Provide regular information about school events, and your child’s progress.
  • Provide information about your child’s progress through two Parents’ Evenings, the pupil profile and an annual written report.
  • Provide work at an appropriate level to be completed at home.

  • Make sure our child is punctual, attends school regularly and notify school as early as possible about any absence.
  • Support the school’s policies on discipline, jewellery and medicines and advise the school of any health or relevant family problems.
  • Support the school’s policies on uniform and will label all my child's belongings.
  • Attend Parents’ Evenings and meetings to discuss our child’s progress.
  • Talk positively with our child about daily events at school, give time for reading and playing together, share stories regularly and encourage our child to join a library.
  • Ensure any work to be done at home is completed to school’s standard and returned on time.

I understand that part of the school’s role is to ensure all children are kept safe at all times. In support of this I will not discuss the business of school or children attending school in any public forum including social networking sites or take any photos, images or footage of any children other than mine own to or upload social media sites.
